Having photographed the wedding of Emily’s sister in 2008, we were delighted to be back in the beautiful surroundings of Tyninghame Estate to photograph the wedding of Emily and Richard.
Making everything appear effortlessly wonderful must come naturally to the Ayre family; the gardens, flowers, surroundings – even the weather – were all truly perfect for a summer wedding.
The ceremony took place in the utterly charming Whittinghame Church, with a close family friend conducting the service. After the service flowergirl Emma enchanted the entire congregation as she made sure they all had handfuls of flower petals to trow at the couple.
When we arrived back at Tyninghame Estate, we went for a wander with the newlyweds to take a few photos in the fairy-tale-like surroundings. Meanwhile guests enjoyed the warm sunny day, the cool champagne and some exquisite canapes (by the aptly named Wilde Thyme), before they were piped along a flower-strewn path, underneath the Laburnum trees, into the beautifully decorated marquee for dinner and dancing.
We truly loved being part of yet another fantastic wedding in the Ayre family and wish Emily and Richard a lifetime of love and happiness together.
