Joanna and Joseph’s wedding had all the odds in favour a fantastic day: a beautiful couple, adorable flower girls, a magnificent church, a grand venue and the promise of a sunny day. As the day came, it was all these things, and a whole host of others, that made it a truly brilliant day.Joanna had chosen a gorgeous dress and complemented it beautifully with high stilettos, a cathedral length veil and a “Jo loves Jo” perfume that her husband-to-be had created especially for her to wear on their wedding day.
Meanwhile Joseph and his best man were stuck in long queues on the motorway and had to resort to some “creative driving” to ensure they got to the church on time!
After that, the rest of the day went flawlessly, with everyone enjoying the spring weather and the lovely service in the impressive St Michael’s Church. After the service guests gathered outside the church to see the newlyweds head off to Hopetoun House in the glorious sunshine.
As we went off to take photos of the couple around the beautiful grounds of Hopetoun House, guests were milling in the rooms of one of Scotland’s finest stately homes.
As guests were seated in the ballroom, they were treated to three hilarious (even if censored) speeches and three fantastic courses of dinner.
The newlyweds then kicked off a night of dancing and fun with their flawless first dance to Carpenters’ “Close To You”.
We wish Jo & Jo a long and very happy life together and look forward to showing them all the photos when they are back from honeymoon.
