I love Scotland. I love its scenery, people and the incredible light. When Scotland does warm, sunny days, there is no better place on earth.
On one such day, we were off to photograph the wedding of Rachel and Andrew in the fantastic setting of Chatelherault.

We already knew there’d be some great things to capture, including Rachel’s 50’s style short wedding dress, a humanist ceremony that included an old custom known as “jumping the broom”, a Superwoman bib(!) and a mouth-watering chocolate fountain.
On top of that, we were treated to a few surprises, such as Rachel walking up the aisle to the string quartet playing Lady Gaga’s “Bad Romance”!

We were so pleased to be involved in this fantastic day (and catching a bit of rare Scottish warmth and sun!)

Rachel and Andrew, we loved seeing all your fun plans for the day come to fruition. You were all so much fun to be around and we can’t thank you enough for having us there.

We hope you are having a fantastic honeymoon and look forward to showing you the rest of the photos soon!
