When Annabel and Monty decided to get married in Scotland in early April, they probably didn’t think it would be 19 degrees and beautiful sunshine, but that’s exactly how it was. What they didn’t know either was just how perfect a wedding day it would turn out to be.

After a lovely morning of fun and fizz as the bride and groom got ready in separate parts of Dundas Castle, they were married at St Michael’s Church in Linlithgow, in a service filled with laughter, smiles and tears. After the service the guests milled outside into the warm sunshine before heading back to Dundas Castle, where everyone stayed outside to enjoy champagne and live music.
Only as the guests were piped to the marquee, did the clouds start drawing in.
After a three-course dinner, four funny and very moving speeches and a beautiful song written and performed for the bride by two of her friends, Annabel and Monty got up to dance the first dance.
We left the party with a full dance floor after an impromptu encore of “Only Annabel Knows” with big smiles on our faces and thousands of photos of what was a truly perfect wedding on a truly perfect Scottish Spring day.
We wish Annabel and Monty every good wish for the future and can’t wait to show them the edited photos when they are back from honeymoon.
