Lucy and Cameron’s late October wedding at Rosebery Steading was the perfect mix of relaxed countryside vibes, beautiful autumn colour and laid back celebration.
Rosebery wedding is a dream to photograph – The rustic barn setting, gorgeous stone buildings and open green surroundings make it an incredible place for natural wedding photography in every season.
Lucy and Cameron wanted their day to feel relaxed and outdoorsy, with lots of natural moments and colourful “green photos” that reflected their personalities. Even though the October weather brought plenty of wind, we were lucky enough to have sunshine throughout the day, which added so much warmth and atmosphere to the photos.
One of our favourite parts of photographing weddings at Rosebery Steading is the variety the venue offers without ever needing to leave the grounds. From the beautiful courtyard to the surrounding countryside, there are endless spots for relaxed couple portraits and candid moments with guests.
The whole day felt completely unforced – just good people, beautiful surroundings and a couple genuinely enjoying every moment together. Exactly the kind of wedding we love to photograph.
Rosebery Steading is a beautifully restored 18th-century “farm toun” (farmstead) converted into an exclusive-use venue for weddings, private events, and corporate retreats. Located near Gorebridge, Midlothian, just south of Edinburgh, it combines rustic 200-year-old stone architecture with modern amenities, including two expansive, light-filled barns (the Hayloft and Threshing Barn) and luxury on-site accommodation for up to 28 guests
If you’re planning your own wedding at Rosebery Steading and are looking for natural, relaxed wedding photography, we’d love to hear from you.
