Emma and Romain’s beautiful autumnal wedding

October is such a wonderful month for weddings – The fantastic colours and light are enough to make a photographer’s heart sing.
Emma and Romain’s Scottish/ French wedding had all the gorgeousness of the season, all the charm of the French and all the fun of a good Scottish knees-up.

The cathedral grounds gave us a perfect backdrop for our photo session.

The wedding reception was held at Emma’s family’s farm.

If the bride says “I want to get on the wall”, then we say “Amazing! Go for it!”

The dining marquee was a packed with autumnal beauty in the shape of leaves, shells, corn, twigs and candles. Oh, and a tree.

These beautiful wooden place names were made by Emma’s friendĀ Rosanna Clare.

Luggage tags and wooden branches were the perfect alternative to a table plan.

The wedding cake was made of layered cheeses, which were cut up and served alongside the dessert buffet.

Emma and Romain had created little notes for all the guests to help the English/ French conversations flow a little easier.

Love this very tempting dessert buffet.

Emma and Romain, we had such a fantastic time photographing your wedding! Thank you again for having us there and for all the laughs – we can’t wait to show you the full set of photos soon.
