When first meeting Maurissa and Jamie, we weren’t surprised to learn that they have been together for nearly a decade – they know each other so well and are so happy and comfortable in each other’s company. They told us of the lovely plans for their big day and we were really looking forward to it as the time approached. And even though we had seen a photo of the dress before the day (while Jamie wasn’t there of course!), it still took our breath away when we saw it. Maurissa had had a headpiece made especially to go with the dress as well as bespoke shoes, and the result was way beyond the sum of the parts – she looked incredible. We weren’t the only ones to think so, every face in the church lit up when Maurissa walked up the aisle on her father’s arm, but none more so than Jamie’s.After the service, the couple and their guests enjoyed the warm spring sunshine outside the church before heading to the beautiful Carnell Estate. As we went off to take some photos of the newly-weds and family groups, guests enjoyed champagne and jazz music in the marquee. After the speeches and dinner, Maurissa and Jamie kicked off a night of dancing and fun with their first dance. We wish Maurissa and Jamie many decades of happy marriage and look forward to showing them the rest of the photographs when they are back from honeymoon.
