You may remember Sally and Rod from their engagement shoot on Yellowcraig Beach earlier this year. Such a happy, easy-going couple, they couldn’t have been any nicer to photograph, so needless to say, we were really looking forward to their big day.
When the day finally came, it would appear the traffic gods were trying to put a spanner in the works. With 3-hour delays on the Forth Road Bridge, many guests found themselves struggling to get to Hopetoun House on time, so the ceremony was delayed by 30 minutes to leave time for as many guests as possible to get there.
Throughout this, Sally was a picture of calm, happily playing with her very sweet nieces and nephew and getting ready with her family in a cottage in the grounds of Hopetoun.

If you could bottle cuteness…

The evening ended on a real high note when The Red Hot Chilli Pipers surprised guests with a great performance.

Sally and Rod, thank you for having us there at your wedding, it was a truly fantastic day. We loved seeing all your hard work, thought and effort paying off – I can’t think what you could have done better (bribed the traffic gods, maybe…)

We wish you a lifetime of love and happiness together and look forward to showing you the rest of the photographs soon!
