Campervanning around Scotland

Choose a job you love, and you’ll never have to work a day in your life.
Choose a job where you photograph campervans around Scotland, and your job will be a holiday. Literally.

When Roseisle Campervan Hire asked me to take one of their luxury motorhomes out for a drive around Scotland, I could hardly say no, could I?
What followed were four unforgettable days wild camping with my family.

Ahhh, Loch Morlich, how we love you.

Picking up pebbles to throw in the water, Frida decided this one was the perfect size. Jokes.

Head space…

The kids loved the late bedtime and the bugs on the window screen.

It’s difficult not to be tempted outside pre-6 am when you can look at this in your pyjamas.

An early-morning visitor passed by our campervan for coffee…

Spean Bridge

 Loch Linnhe

Loch Leven, near Ballachulish

Stopped by the River Coe for a wander

Glen Etive

Rannoch Moor

Loch Lomond

Bannockburn visitor centre

…and back home!

If you are tempted to have a go at campervanning, I can genuinely recommend the friendly service and high standard campervans at Roseisle.

  1. Looks great, sounds like a lot of fun and a lot easier to persuade Mrs M to get into one of these than my tiny, two-person tent!
