Chen and Gary’s mix of Scottish and Chinese wedding traditions made for a wonderful day at their intimate Melville Castle wedding this week. I loved seeing all the kilts there, many of the men wearing them for the first time, including both dads.
Before the wedding dinner, there was a traditional Chinese tea ceremony. I love how tea ceremonies are described as “an adoration of the beautiful among the sordid facts of everyday life”. Don’t we need more of that? So why not make yourself a beautiful cup of tea and enjoy this little preview?
Chen and Gary, thank you so much for having me there for your wedding, and for making me feel so welcome!
I wish you all the happiness in the future and look forward to showing you the full set of photos soon!
