I’m not sure what I like most about this wedding; the fact that it coincided with Lucy’s aunt and uncle’s Golden Anniversary perhaps. Or that her father had written a poem to mark the occasion, which he read out just before Lucy and Pete said “I do”. The tears, the laughter. The many kind and funny people we met. The stunning scenery of Ardnamurchan. Lucy and Pete’s wonderfully dry sense of humour.
There were so many things to love that day, maybe that was my favourite thing about it.
